The Assistant Director/Management Trainee will join the team by training in all areas of the business to take the reins as a leader of Serious Fun. We will train you to grow the skills needed to teach amazing classes and lead, train and develop the team, along with manage daily operations! This individual will serve as a team mentor, trainer and lead by example! Our business is growing and we are searching for experienced and dedicated leaders to grow with us.

What we expect from you…

  • Learn to teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!). This requires a lot of physical effort as well as coming to work ready to be "on" with full energy! Classes are our product and as a leader in the business, being an expert in our product is critical!
  • Train, develop and support the team of Coaches to teach the best classes!
  • Provide outstanding customer service and experience as well as train and develop others to do the same. We treat our members like family here.
  • Create a warm and fun environment for the Children and families each class.
  • Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
  • Create "WOW" moments in the lobby, creating an engaging community and culture
  • Act as a "Team Lead" by training and mentoring others in our "High Support, High Performance" environment. This includes being involved with hiring, training, mentoring and coaching the team of 20+ individuals each day.
  • Running the business operations to ensure the quality of classes are high, our team is prepared for the day and all business procedures are being followed.
  • Oversee other aspects of business that includes team development, marketing, sales and business operations. Overtime, as you grow with The Little Gym, this responsibility will grow as well
You’d fit in here if…

  • Have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • You love having fun, encouraging kids and giving High-5’s!
  • Have a background in gymnastics, dance, cheer, child development or sports. Loves to be moving in a very physically active job.
  • Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too.
  • You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work.
  • You are driven to succeed and know how to work hard and hustle!
  • Are a natural leader and have experience managing others
  • Are a strategic thinker, that can analyze numbers/business results and create plans to improve
  • Are resilient, flexible and someone who seeks solutions to problems.
  • Are someone who has the desire and capacity to continue to grow with The Little Gym as our business is growing!
  • Are open to working a mixture of days, evenings and one weekend day. Your schedule will generally remain consistent from week to week and the team will work together to ensure we have all business hours/needs met.

Schedule:

  • a combination of days, evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
