Snapology Instructor (Independent Contractor, Part-Time, Mobile & On-Site)

Are you passionate about working with kids and sparking their creativity through hands-on learning? Snapology of Boise is looking for enthusiastic and engaging Independent Contractor Instructors to lead fun, interactive STEAM-based programs using LEGO® bricks, robotics, and technology!

Position Overview:

As a Snapology Instructor, you will facilitate educational programs for children ages 4-14 in a variety of settings, including schools, community centers, Snapology partner locations, birthday parties, and special events. This part-time, independent contractor position offers flexibility and an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Snapology classes, workshops, camps, and special events using provided curriculum
Foster a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Set up and break down class materials at each location
Travel to and from various program sites within the designated service area
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program partners
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be a U.S. citizen and authorized to work in the United States
Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camps, childcare, etc.) is preferred
Reliable transportation to travel between program locations
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Comfortable managing groups of children in a classroom or event setting
Enthusiasm for STEM/STEAM education and hands-on learning

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position (not an employee role)
Pay: $18-$23 per hour after the training period has ended
Competitive hourly pay based on experience and class type
Flexible schedule with opportunities to teach in a variety of locations
Training provided to ensure success in leading Snapology programs
