After-School Instructor (Part-Time) – Snapology

About the Role
Snapology is looking for energetic and reliable instructors to lead fun, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) programs for kids ages 5–14. Using LEGO® bricks and other tools, you’ll help students build creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Curriculum, training, and materials are all provided—no lesson planning required!

Schedule
- Main need: Monday–Friday, 2:45–4:45 PM (after-school classes)
- Additional morning and weekend hours available for camps, workshops, and parties
- Flexible scheduling with year-round opportunities
What You’ll Do
- Lead groups of up to 20 students in after-school programs, camps, and workshops
- Create a fun, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and ensure smooth class flow
- Set up/clean up materials before and after sessions
- Communicate with parents, schools, and Snapology staff as needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 years of experience working with children (classroom, camp, tutoring, etc.)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must have or be willing to obtain background clearances
- Education degree or enrollment in related field preferred (not required)
- Experience with neurodiverse learners a plus
- Reliable transportation
Pay & Benefits
- $12–$18/hour, based on experience
